Dr. Ferey Faridian joins the IFOS executive team

IFOS is pleased to formally announce that Dr. Ferey Faridian will assume the responsibilities of the president of IFOS starting May 24, 2010. Dr. Faridian will report directly to Dr. Behzad Moslehi, CEO/CTO and Chairman of the Board. Ferey has previously been an important part of the IFOS team providing a range of consulting services to the Company and in the process developing a keen sense of the considerable strengths of our employees and breadth of intellectual capital as well as the many associated opportunities. Ferey is a serial entrepreneur, an ex VC and an ex investment banker as well as the with several years of Fortune 500 management consulting experience that span twelve countries and several industries relevant to IFOS. He has extensive product development, technology management and corporate strategy track record consulting for e.g. ABB, Philips, Schlumberger (where he was in charge of an accelerated product development group), Boeing, Hughes and General Dynamics mostly at board and senior executive level. Ferey has a PhD in EE from University College, London, where he helped commercialize the acoustic microscope in close ties with the Ginzton Laboratories of Physics at Stanford University. He also has an MBA from Cambridge University. In his leadership role at IFOS, and with his extraordinary talents and experiences, Ferey will be positioned to leverage and accelerate the current growth of IFOS' private and public sector revenues.
